인생은 불만족과 만족의 반복이다. 물론 그 둘은 늘 공존하지만 그 수치가 같을 수는 없다. 불만족이 더 가득한 시간이 끝나면 만족이 시작되고, 만족의 끝에 도달하면 불만족의 표면이 드러난다. 그 끝과 시작의 시간을 잴 수도, 예상할 수도 없지만, 언제나 반복된다는 것만은 알 수 있다.

Life is a repetition of dissatisfaction and satisfaction. They co-exist, but their levels of intensity never equal one another. When dissatisfaction comes to an end, satisfaction starts to bloom; when satisfaction fades, dissatisfaction resurfaces. The timing of this end and beginning comes unexpectedly and is never consistent, but its repetition always exists.

<Blue Lady>를 보며 <Bloom Lady>를 제작했다. 제작할 시엔 상반되는 분위기를 의도하지 않았지만, <Bloom Lady>가 완성되고 꽃을 꽂아보니 풍기는 감정이 달라졌다.
Bloom Lady was inspired by Blue Lady. The original intention was for the vase to carry a similar emotion as the painting. However, once it was complete and held flowers, it diverged with more vitality.

<Love Letter>은 상처를 준 이에게 아이러니한 말투로 감사함을 내뱉는다면, <Hole Heart>는 상처가 아무는 과정을 따스한 불빛으로 표현한다.
While Love Letter discusses heartbreak in an ironic tone, Hole Heart shows the process of healing through the usage of light.

<Blue Lady>와 <Bloom Lady>도 그러하듯이 작품들에 웅크리는 사람들이 자주 등장한다. 같은 웅크리는 자세에도 사뭇 다른 감정들이 나타난다.
As shown above in Blue Lady and Bloom Lady, crouching figures often appear in my works. Although they hold a similar posture, they portray different emotions.
